Tiruvalla Medical Mission Hospital started as a dream in Dewan Bahadur Dr. V. Varghese's heart. As a devout Christian, he read and studied the writings of early missionaries. He was fascinated by George Mueller's life, a prayer warrior and head of the English orphanage movement. Following Mueller's path, the Dewan dedicated his life, money, and skills to the benefit of society.
