The Changethu family has a long and illustrious history in Ayurveda.
Kandararu, the then leader of the Changethu family, was allegedly initiated into the practise of Ayurveda by the famed Vaidyan Nambi, who belonged to the celebrated Alathur line of Ashtavaidyas, in the 17th century.
This long history aided the family in learning more about diagnosis, prognosis, and therapies.
Not only that, but the Changethu family became skilled in the treatment of a variety of ailments, particularly those affecting the vertebra and spine, such as spondylitis, spondylosis, disc prolapse, disc herniation, disc dehydration, scoliosis, and others.
