Daya Hospital was started as a 50 bedded facility in 2001 by Dr. V K Abdul Azeez, Late Mukundan Menon, and their friends, and they chose a different approach from the start. They were able to break the usual way of doing things by using a transparent manner that did not complicate situations or increase costs. By decreasing tests, duration of stay, and medicines, all patients were treated scientifically and without compromising care quality. The project's earliest phases resulted in 300 procedures and 50 beds.
V.K. Abdul Azeez went out to such a group and presented his concept for helping the underprivileged through health talks and debates. Medical treatments were also provided at a reduced cost to individuals in need. The Obstetrics and Gynecology Department provides comprehensive Obstetric treatment, including management of high-risk Obstetric disorders, painless labors with continuous foetal cardiotocography, and emergency ultrasounds.
