N.S Memorial Institute of Medical Sciences

N.S Memorial Institute of Medical Sciences (NSMIMS) is a famous multispecialty hospital in Palathara, Kollam, located on the N.H bypass. We are dedicated to reintroducing the word "care" into the healthcare industry. Ours is Southern Kerala's first speciality co-operative hospital. The Kollam District Co-operative Hospital Society's initial endeavour was NSMIMS. Our hospital is dedicated to the cooperative movement and its founder, N Sreedharan. The hospital has been in operation since February 2006, and it was established in honour of Com. N. Sreedharan, a well-known politician and humanitarian. The hospital strives to uphold his principles. N.S. was a strong propagator of the Kerala Communist Party, a socio-political icon, and a popular leader among the people. On February 17th, 1985, he perished in an accident while working as a member of the party's State Secretariat in Kottarakkara.
