Chandramathy Amma Memorial hospital was started as a clinic by Dr. M Chandrasekharan, an in-law of the founder of the present hospital, late V N Nair. By 1981, the hospital had specialists in nearly every field, including ophthalmology, gynaecology, ENT, and general surgery. The 80-bed multi-specialty hospital is committed to offering high-quality care at a reasonable price. They are on a quest to be an excellent academic and clinical practice centre. The hospital has 20 efficient doctors working under the supervision of Dr. M Chandrasekharan, the superintendent. With over 21 departments, the hospital has demonstrated that they are not just capable of caring for patients but also of caring for their employees. In addition, the Kerala government recognized the hospital for its labor compliance excellence.
