Chandramathy Amma Memorial hospital was started as a clinic by Dr. M Chandrasekharan, an in-law of the founder of the present hospital, late V N Nair. By 1981, the hospital had specialists in nearly every field, including ophthalmology, gynaecology, ENT, and general surgery. The 80-bed multi-specialty hospital is committed to offering high-quality care at a reasonable price. They are on a quest to be an excellent academic and clinical practice centre. The hospital has 20 efficient doctors working under the supervision of Dr. M Chandrasekharan, the superintendent.
